What Is Remote Online Notarization (RON):

Credential Analysis (CA)  is the process by which your government-issued identification card is validated. This process requires a third party to use technology to confirm the security features on an ID and confirm the ID is not fraudulent.

Biometric Analysis (BA) is the measurement and statistical analysis of your unique physical and behavioral characteristics. Biometric Analysis is authorized in the state of Florida and assists signers that are foreign nationals. 

 

Knowledge Base Authentication (KBA) is a set of questions and answers generated from public and private data sources which allows you to validate who you say you are. This is a quiz all about you. *In most cases you as the signer will have two (2) attempts at KBA verification. If both attempts fail, you will have to wait 24 hours.

How It Works: 

• ID Proofing requires that- Signers must validate through ID Verification KBA, ID Credential Analysis & Biometrics. 

• All parties must be present during the session and in the Recorded Live Audio Video Session

• Signers can be anywhere in the world

• Signers do not need to be a US Citizen

• Signers must have an address within the US to which they are associated with

• My state (Florida)- restricts the following documents from being notarized online (Vital Records, Wills and Codicils, Immigration Documents, and Marriage Solemnization)

• Signers can connect and perform the notarization session from their cell phone. The cell phone must have a camera, internet access, email access

• Signers will sign using an electronic signature including the notary
